I am a high school librarian – my dream job – which makes me very lucky, I know! I am a former Second Vice President of the Haiku Society of America. Japanese poetry has been a passion of mine  since childhood. Haiku, senryu, tanka and haiga.  I also Tweet @Haikutopia.  I am the founder of National Haiku Poetry Day, April 17, which is now under the auspices of The Haiku Foundation. I also am lucky to be a member of a local haiku group, Hudson Valley Haiku-kai. My Pinterest page of some haiku resources for the Library as Incubator Project can be found on Pinterest along with my Haikutopia board.
